The classic of Mountains and Seas is a classic text and a compilation of mythic geography and beasts. This book is based on old people’s imagination and gives some mysterious phenomena with a mythological explanation. A word called exotic imagination refers to those perplexed who tend to have more false and vague imaginations with something that they are not familiar with. In the old-time, access to knowledge was very limited, so people were fascinated with mythology and their imagination exploded.

However, nowadays people’s imagination is restricted by technology. We measure everything in terms of what is scientifically proven to be true. It is more reliable but we lost something. Technology is not necessarily to be the restriction of our imagination and mythology, instead, it can expand our view.
